  • Do you know how the team works in this race? Do each walk 12 hours or is it relay, one teammate at a time? Can some teammates,
just give up and sit while others keep walking? S

  • No teamwork and not a relay. Just walk for 12hour. U can stop for drinks, meals, restroom, massage or ZZzzz, then back on track.

Give up? No probs. As long your walking distance >30km to entitle for a medal.

  • If you see the form details, it has a team event but didn't say whether it's a relay and no telphone to call up to ask.

  • Overlook that one. First time they introduce the relay category. U need to call the organizer for detail

  • The team events is a relay, meaning one single timing chip and walker out of the 4 pax at a time walking. Guess the other 3 are support and free to do anything but pace. Makes it only a 4 x 3hr walking race, but you can mix and match any number of 1078meter laps agonst team mates. I think I'll go for the full monty 12 hr solo format then. Organiser Podim @ 016-462-8292 for more info. Steve
