The registration for the 5th Phnom Penh Int'l Half Marathon is now open! The race features an exceptional starting and finishing place in front of the Royal Palace beside the famous Mekong River.

This  annual event  is  celebrating the  Birthday of  Queen Norodom Monineath Sihanouk and conjunction with the World Environment Day as well as commemorate the 120th Olympic Day.

The 1st Angkor Empire Marathon and Half Marathon (2nd) will be held on one of famous heritage in the world which is designed a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1992. Event will be held at the Angkor Wat area in the most famous Angkor Wat ruins. Angkor Archaeological Park located in northern Cambodia, is one of the most important archaeological sites in South-East Asia.

Stretching over some 400 sq. km, including forested area, Angkor contains the magnificent remains of several capitals of the Khmer Empire, from the 9th to the 15th century CE. These include the famous temple of Angkor Wat and, at Angkor Thom, the Bayon temple with its countless sculptural decorations.
