ntv7's charity run in July
KUALA LUMPUR: In celebration of its 13th anniversary, ntv7 is organising a charity run in July.
The inaugural "Feel Good Run 2011" is slated to be held on July 3 at Sri Pentas, Bandar Utama.
The event will comprise four categories: Feel Good Run (7km), Run with Celebrities (3km), Costume Fun Run (3km), and Kids' Run (700m).
Participants can look forward to exciting activities, such as a mini carnival, free health checks and stage events, as well as the chance to get up-close with a number of local celebrities.
Proceeds from the event will be channelled to the Malaysian Heart Foundation, the National Cancer Society, the Malaysian Autism Society and the Malaysian AIDS Foundation.
"Being healthy is key to feeling good. As the 'Home of Feel Good', it's our pleasure to celebrate our 13th year with the public by hosting this charity run, which is sure to be packed with plenty of fun and healthy activities for the whole family," said ntv7 general manager Airin Zainul at the launch of the event at Sri Pentas, Bandar Utama yesterday.
The fee is RM25 for participants aged 13 and above, and RM10 for those aged 12 years and below.
Registration will open from March 19 to June 3. Those who would like to register manually can do so at the Federal Territory Amateur Athletic Association (FTAAA), Level 2C, Multipurpose Hall, Wisma OCM, Jalan Hang Jebat, Kuala Lumpur, and Twenty First Century Sports (M) Sdn Bhd, No. 51, Jalan SS 18/6, Subang Jaya.
Participants can also register online at www.ntv7.com.my/feelgoodrun.
All participants will be given a race pack of exclusive ntv7 merchandise and goodies while those who complete the run will receive a certificate and memento.
