The men’s open and junior categories cover a distance of 10km while the rest cover 7km.

The first three winners in all categories will each receive a medal, participation certificate, hotel stay voucher and hamper while those from the fourth to the 20th placing will get a me-dal and participation certificate each.

There will also be a lucky draw offering 300 prizes such as electronic items.

Ranjit Singh said invitations had been sent to various organisations, including other higher learning institutions.

The registration fee is RM5 per person for the schoolboys and girls categories and RM10 for the others.

Entry forms are available from Jaya Catering outlets in the northern region, AIMST University and from AIMST’s website at For details, call Ranjit at 012-4623138. The closing date for entries is Oct 30.
