This photo captured exactly 3 years ago and saved into my notebook. Yep, purposely to submit to TheStar Thumbnails but forgotten. Until 2 days ago while doing some housekeeping for hard disk storage space, found it. Checking on photo exif detail, this photo was taken on 15 February 2009. Same date I submit to TheStar Thumbnails.



It is orchid plant. Grown by mother in-law. When asking about orchid name, dia pon tak tau. Bought it somewhere in Ipoh she said.

Thumbnails: Open up and say 'aahhh'

A photo taken during day trip to Songkhla Zoo published in the thumbnails@theStar newspaper today. Photo of hippo open wide his mouth. I think one of source income of Songkhla Zoo beside entrance fee is feeding. They allow visitors to feed animals. Visitors must buy food which prepared near cage between 10~20 baht.



So whenever visitors came, slowly they came near and hoping to feed. For this hippo, there is no food prepared nearby. I just pour some mineral water in his mouth.

My 7th photo was published in TheStar today. Emm... not "RM50 Winner" again for me. Usually the winners are among the accident photos. I dislike to snap and share any photo like that – scary. Anyway, gumbira already when my photo was selected in thumbnails@TheStar.



The photo taken during my company events – Karnival Sukan. A lot of in-door and out-door games were organized on that day such as Badminton, Sepak Takraw, Futsal, Tarik Tali, sukaneka type and finally a batik sarong football.

Captured this photo on last Saturday on the way to project site @Sungai Lalang. The 9 side football supposed start on that day but heavily rain on Friday night, the field became flooded. The organizer already setup the tents a day earlier. The games cancel on that day and bring forward on 26 June.

Another attempt for RM50 on thumbnails theStar. Captured this photo after finish hiking the Gunung Jerai during Labour Day with my office-mate. We drop by Merbok market for meal at 5pm. The tauke just arrived and setup for Pasar Malam.

My 4th attempts in Thumbnails@theStar. Mmmmm.. miss the cash prize again. But it is nice feeling this photo published in the newspaper. I captured during my Baling International Duathlon couple of weeks ago. He showing his skill while we waiting for prize ceremony.

December

Everything slow for me this month. I think i gonna take a good rest this month. Felt too tired of running and race but i still jog 2-3time per week without stopwatch or timing concern. Just mau kasi keluar peluh2 and all the negative thought on that days.

Each time i finished jog/running, I felt 'free'. Everything yang tak puashati, kena taji ker.. tah hapa hapa lagi on that day - gone. And I ready/fresh on the next morning to start a new day.

December.. got 2 major events in Penang. 12 Hour walk and Penang Relay (yesterday) both event i missed. Felt tired already after finish Powerman and KRI. Plus.. got no more budget for race. Had to allocate $$ to another activities this month.

Plan to bring them a vacation sambil khatan/sunat my son Alauddin. Together with his sepupu at Melaka. Probably celebrate raya haji there. And a surprise party for my dad.

Last week.. no running for me. I think i need a new shoes this coming hari raya haji to lift-up abit my running and race spirit. Of course i looking for Nike. Although i'm not satisfied with tapak kasut but it served my legs better.


I did an easy ride yesterday from Jetty Semeling - Merbok - Yan - Sarang Semut and return back via Guar Chempedak - Gurun - Bedong. 100km - cantek. With Riza, Fauzi and Brahim. Once reach home, I'm flat for half an hour under garage at 12:30pm. Fuh! sedap.


Last saturday.. my 3rd attempt in thumbnails. - pap!

My second attempts at http://thumbnails.thestar.com.my/. I captured at Ipoh International School. The kids were doing water rocket experiments, while I waiting for KRI:12km Road Race volunteers packing my goodies bags.

Alot of kids and parents came and brought their own water rocket, created using big size of carbonate drinking bottle. Almost all the water rockets successful launch and fly above pokok angsana nearby. Some of them "end/touch-down" on the housing roof.

Eeemmm.. Some of the photos here worth RM50. Where it is?
